Primetech supports Tour de France success with satellite and voice communications network along race route

The recent Tour de France cycle race through Yorkshire was a huge success. Millions of people turned out to watch the race along its route, and millions more watched the race on television.

This service will, for the first time, enable enterprise customers in the UK to establish a subscription-based, high-speed, fully encrypted VPN via Eutelsat’s next-generation KA-SAT satellite.

The managed service will enable distributed Blue Light Services to take advantage of KA-SAT’s high-throughput satellite transmission speeds together with the most advanced uses of an ultra-fast broadband VPN, including the rapid implementation of integrated backup and traffic offload solutions in highly secure environments.

Fire service interest grows in Primetech’s Rapid Response Tactical Vehicle and innovative Evaluation and Training Programme

Fire and rescue services are assisting with the introduction of the hugely capable Primetech Rapid Response Tactical Vehicle under flexible new lease and training arrangements within Primetech’s Cobra Evaluation and Training Programme.


The Primetech Rapid Response Tactical Vehicle, developed by Primetech, is a completely new class of firefighting vehicle.  It’s fast, flexible and economical, while at the same time being hugely capable, carrying (on a Mitsubishi Trojan vehicle platform) a suite of powerful and innovative new firefighting technologies, in particular the Cobra cold cutting system, which can cut through building walls and force high-pressure water spray into fire spaces to suppress fires quickly, efficiently and with minimal property damage, whilst maximising firefighter safety.
